The project explores the creation of a 2D platform game inspired by the Chinese folktale Butterfly Lovers, reinterpreting the story through themes of gender equality and access to education in alignment with the 2030 Agenda Goals.

Developed in a pixel-art style informed by ancient Chinese aesthetics, the game invites players to collect “gems of courage” to challenge traditions that restrict women, unfolding through a narrative with three possible endings.
